Traffic switching and distribution
GSLB allows administrators to precisely control the traffic distribution ratio. After monitoring for stability, this ratio can be gradually increased.
Geo-based routing
Automatically analyzes the user's IP to route them to the nearest server cluster/IDC (within the same continent or country), helping to minimize latency.
Intelligent load balancing
GSLB quantifies the capacity of each IDC to assign appropriate weights. Traffic is distributed based on the actual capacity of each server cluster, preventing situations of localized overload or idle resources.
Failover
Single address failure: Redirects access to other healthy IPs within the same IDC and ISP. Single ISP failure: Redirects traffic from the failed ISP to other IDCs while maintaining the same ISP to ensure speed. Total IDC failure: When a Data Center completely fails, GSLB evacuates all traffic from that IDC to backup IDCs in other regions, instantly rescuing the system.
